Day 116, Big Branch Shelter

My hike out of Manchester started at 8:30 a bit late for my liking as the day was going to get warm. I hit the big attraction on todays hike summiting at the Bromley Ski lift on Bromley Mountain. The view was beautiful and the warming hut at the top of the lift is left open for hikers to stay in during the hiking season. The second big attraction was Griffith lake that sat in the wilderness and the only access was by foot. I got to the shelter that evening and Lazarus caught up about 45 minutes later. The water here was a big stream that you could sit in to cool off which was really nice.
