Day 117, Clarendon Shelter

Latitude: 43.523562 Longitude: -72.91244
Today we headed to the Clarendon Shelter which is near the Clarendon Gorge that was once a part of an ancient sea and you can find fossils of ancient sea creatures. When I passed over the gorge on the suspension bridge there were locals swimming in the stream and there was a guy panning for “GOLD”. Now the last mile to the shelter was the hardest climb of the day it felt like it was strait up with a rock scramble-ugh!
