Day 129, Ethan's Pond Shelter

Today was an easier hike to Ethan Pond Shelter but the fist part was a continuation of the steeeereep waterfall trail combo for about .4 miles but it felt like the trail was trying to kill you as one slip meant falling and serious injury. The day had one tall climb up South Twin Mtn at 4902 ft but the rest of the day was mostly down hill with a stop at the Zealand Falls Hut that stands near a waterfall. The Hut is one the AMC remote huts that you can stay at but they are pricy as all the food has to be hiked in and fuel is brought in by helicopter. The nice thing for hikers is that you can sometimes get leftovers since all trash has to be packed out including food.
