Day 148, Monson Maine

This morning we started down the trail in the rain needing to do 13miles to the next shelter. I needed to keep moving to stay warm as my rain jacket would wet out and I was wet most of the day so moving help me stay warm until we arrived in camp and got the tent setup and put on some dry clothes along with my puffy jacket which I haven't used since Virginia. Dinner was prepped and I put my dehydrated meal inside my jacket while it rehydrated from the boiled water which helped chase away the chill I have been feeling all day-I look forward to getting into town tomorrow and having a hot shower and a real meal.
