Day 20, Snowbird Mountain

Today was my last day in the Smokies. It was great! The views were awesome but I was ready for something new. I arrived at Davenport Gap the Northern terminus of the Smokies and pressed on to the Standing Bear Hostel for food and resupply to get to Hot Springs for a real zero day and see my son Jared. So I ate a large pizza, ice cream bar and 3 sodas while my electronics recharged. I headed back to the trail by 1500 and hiked to an unofficial campsite for the night.
