Day 31, Mtn Harbor BnB

Start the day on trail at 7:10. It was chilly and the trail was wet and muddy. The hike down from Roan Knob was without any great views but the day changed when I arrived at Carver’s Gap. At the gap I hiked over multiple Balds: Round Bald, Jane Bald, Grassy Ridge Bald and mountains:Roan Mtn, Yellow Mtn, Little Hump Mtn, the wind thru this section felt like it was going to blow me off the trail. This was one of the most beautiful sections of trail that Ive seen. I arrived at the Mtn Harbour B&B where I’m tenting but got to enjoy a few beers, burger-double patty with cheese and jalapeño peppers, fries and jalapeño poppers. I also knocked off some of the trail dirt with a shower and resupplied for the next 2 days of trail.
