Day 42, Quarter Way Inn

I got up at 5am and was on trail by 5:50 with the intention of betting the heat and getting to the Quarter Way Inn by 13:00. I stopped at a gas station near Atkins Va near I81 where I had an apple danish, glazed honey bun, orange juice, large coffee, sprite and skittles-that should hold me for the next 10miles. Once at the Inn I was able to get a shower, laundry, resupply and and a lot of food-pizza, 3 ice cream bars, 4 sodas, gator-aid, rice pudding, a pop-tart 2sm bags of chips and southwest spicy vegetarian dinner- I was still hungry but figured I would wait for breakfast. I also got to sit on the front porch and soak my aching feet in a Epson Salt Bath.😀 The breakfast was fantastic with the egg bake, bacon, biscuits with homemade jam and their own honey seconds on biscuits with jam. Departed the Inn at 8:30 for another day on trail but with a full belly of goodness.
