Day 50, Spectacles Gap

I left Sarver at 6:10 with my final destination being Lost spectacles 21.1 miles. I arrived in camp at 19:15 it was a very long day filled with some very difficult rock climbs and descents that I find would almost be impossible for those with heavy packs. I got to enjoy a Dr Pepper that some trail angel left in a cooler on the side of the trail and near the end of the day I summited the hill to the “Dragons Tooth” on of the VA triple crown AT sites. After the tooth it was .7 miles to camp then dinner and one day closer to town on the 4th.
