Day 64, Blackrock Hut

Today we had breakfast at the house an set off for the 35minute drive back to Rockfish Gap to continue my journey. It was a bitter sweet moment of happiness to get back on trail but sad to leave my beautiful wife. I look forward to our times together and the future journeys we will have. Today I hiked about 20 miles to the Black Rock Hut which was a long day given my late start on trail at 9:45 and finish at 19:45. The trail wad not difficult but there was a lot of up and downs at a moderate grade and the only isse for me was the temperature was in the high 70’s low 80’s I really dont like hiking in the heat but hopefully I can adjust to it as I head North. When I arrived at camp there were no more tent spots so into the shelter I went and there were only about 3 spots left so it was a tight fit
