Day 75, Harpers Ferry

Got up and had breakfast and was underway at 6:45 hoping to hike to the PA16 pickup point before the rain starts. I made it to pen mar park where there were pavilions to eat lunch 3 miles short of PA16 and the rain started. I had lunch while waiting for the rain to stop which was about 2 hours. I headed out to my stopping point and met a AT shuttle driver to get back to Harpers Ferry and the Cross Trails Hostel. The hostel was interesting from the point of many of those staying weren’t AT hikers-there were bikers, gypsies, and rafting guides. The evening was spent cleaning up-shower, laundry and food!
