Day 91, Leroy A Smith Shelter

Today I headed back onto trail in Palmerton with an up hill climb to the top of the ridge. This climb was the scariest section I’ve experienced so far with a rock scramble up a rock face with little foot or hand holds. This would be a great day hike but not fun with a 30pound pack. Once over the top things were back to the normal PA rock field where all you can do is watch your feet.
